To all my LA Folks…..If you missed the “Korean Soul Food” event with Chef Roy Choi, Jarobi of A Tribe Called Quest, & myself this past Friday at Pot, here’s another opportunity to sample something similar.
Today is the Beat Junkies Sunday Service Brunch that we do every 1st Sunday of each month at Escala in Koreatown, but today is special….it’s the “Eats, Rhymes, & Life” edition with of course, my man Jarobi on chef tip again. Brunch is from 11am to 4pm with yours truly providing the sounds. We will have our regular brunch items like the Beat Junkies Loco Moco Remix, the Spicy Fried Chicken & Coconut Waffles, & more….but Jarobi will be whipping up something & flipping one of the dishes. You just gotta come thru to see what he makes. If you liked his Crispy Shrimp w/ Mayo & Fried Chicken dishes at Pot, then you don’t want to sleep what he’s going to make today.
Early arrival is suggested…..Either the wait will be long or the food might run out….hope to see y’all there today!
